What Is Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture (FRA)?

Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture, also known as Cosmetic Acupuncture, is a branch of
traditional acupuncture which aims to correct the signs of aging by both local treatment and by
treating the underlying causes.  
 
For centuries, the Chinese have used acupunc-ture to benefit their longevity and health. Knowing that beauty comes from the inside out, they have mastered ways to increase energy flow within the body and speed up the healing process for rejuvenation.
 
There are twelve main meridians in the human body and many begin or end on the face with internal branches that spread throughout the face. By stimulating certain points, blood and lymphatic circulation can be increased. You will be comfort-ably laid down on a treatment table while soft relaxing music is played in the back-ground of a dimmed candle-lit room.






Clean…

The face is first cleansed with a natural all-organic facial cleanser.





Treament.....

Small intradermal needles will be inserted onto fine lines, furrows, crow’s feet, and other problematic areas for the first half of the session.

The most relaxing and rejuvenating process follows as your face gets a massage and scrub with your choice of aromatherapy facial oil.  An energizing Vitamin C toner is applied, followed by a face firming CoEnzyme Q10 firming serum. A synthetic-free moisturizer will top everything at the end. You will be going home with ear pellets to stimulate more acupuncture points.

A detailed 21-Day Facial Rejuvenation Program (which includes diet, recipes, and other tips) is given out after the first session.

 
How Long Do I Need To Come For?
 
The best results have been noted when patients come for 1 treatment once a week for the first 4 weeks, followed by 1 treatment once every 2-3 weeks for the next 3 months (=10 sessions). Results  are usually apparent after the 5th or 6th treatment.
